Good morning everyone!

Dutchbunny, hope your cat is better.

Wild, so happy to hear that the bad news was followed by good!

Sbrooks, did the pellets from TSC work to absorb the water in your coop?

RF, is the lake dry? Koi back in the real pond?

I hope everyone has a great day, are we all drying out?

Well I think we are in for a dry day.
I really hope we are!
Fowl have been crying fowl for some time now over this weather.
I have noticed less mud patches, and puddles, but we did get a little more rain in this neck of the woods last night.
I've noticed a lot of new names since I was on last, so hello all!

Bitties that hatched all appear healthy, but a new one by me....

... the last 2 Barred Rocks to hatch look like they are trembling.
There are 2 now, so I will keep them together until I figure out if this is contagious, or if this being the first hatch of these birds there is some underdevelopment. Since this is one of those things that I have not had happen before, I am open if anyone has any ideas to check into. The parents to these chicks are in grat shape, and were 3-4 weeks ago as well (when these eggs would have been pulled).

Have a great day everyone.

Nope its back from pond status to lake status, I haven't even went to see if the fish are out or not. Every time it gets back to pond status, we get enough rain to bring it back up to a lake

The broody mommas seem very happy with their new digs :) and are doing really well raisng the babies as a group.

Yep! Pellets did wonders for it! Let them sit today and TADA! It's nearly completely dry! Still a little slippery in there but I'm going to shovel it all out after the sun stops beatings to death!now only if the flies would stick to the darn fly strips I put up around the coop! Lolol

Anyone from highlands or around it??? I'm going in about 2 weeks and I'm looking for polish, Cochins, call ducks, pheasants, and maybe some other things. On me if u know anyone!!

Non Chicken News/Update: Just for those of you "stalking" me... hehe JK

Just popped on to say that while the wait is NOT over with...we are currently hanging out at the hospital waiting for the arrival of baby #3!! Been here ALL day and because things are NOT progressing (especially since this is #3), they are recommending induction to avoid a c-section...ANYTHING to avoid a c-section I'm game for...although, I'd really LOVE a bacon cheeseburger right about now...LOL
