Thank you! This is all very helpful. We have a very large backyard so this makes me feel a lot better about leaving them out during the day. Can't wait to start all these new projects!

We; it really doesn't matter except for my curiosity....and haven't been dealing with chickens for a year yet..except when I was a child... Love the therapy it provides me to sit and watch their personalities. LOL  A lot I don't know even though I've really tried to do my research as much as possible..:caf  Never got a roo because I didn't want to get into the little chickies..  but this one was given to me and I have always thought frizzles were so cute!
Thanks fpr taking the time to comment....so many don't !:thumbsup

Don't forget to quarantine. ....

Good afternoon all, and welcome to new flockers!

I'm so looking forward to tomorrows weather! I had a bantam go broody on me, so I stuck three BO eggs under her, thanks to the cold temps we had over the weekend, two chicks died before they hatched, but one made it. It's very cute! I wish I could get a picture of it, but Momma is very protective and won't let it out from under her.

Hope you are all doing well, and I look forward to seeing pics of all the new babies coming soon!

I don't ignore folks and their posts but quite often by the time
I get home and can read the thread there are so many posts
that I can't answer them all and if someone else as already
answered and it was what I would say, I simply don't repeat
what was said. This may well be what is happening with other
folks as to answering you.....sorry if anyone feels I ignore them,
I don't.....I'm just not always that talkative.
