Did anyone else here just get flooded with rain? I know I did. O-O But we must've needed it, because there's not a puddle out there.

Fixed big breakfast, fixed big supper, Cleaned out one coop, and .... laced a 6'7" section of fencing ! Man, that's for the birds sure 'nuf !!! I did this section yesterday......not pretty but done. The section today looks better.. Oh yea,,,,I took down 3 roosts and put back only one along one wall. They are big enough girls/guys now to use that one. Added PDZ after I cleaned the sand..

Whew. I'm flippin exhausted! DH is nowhere to be found...go figure. Whenever I need help with something...he seems to leave and not come home til he thinks I might be asleep. Unlucky for him I any sleep with him not here. Lol. Got a couple of the walls built for the coop and run today. My arms are killing me!!!!! Screwdrivers suck!!! Pallets suck! It all sucks! But it has to be done and this is a cheap and "easy" way to do it. Still looking for thought and ideas for the pallet coop. ;)

Got the drill but my problem with that is I don't have an enough power behind my arms to get the screws all the way in. I can get them almost completely in but then I push with all my might and can't for the life I me get it the rest of the way!!!

If you talk to the guy in the screw dept....there are "course" /"fine".....threaded.. The course screws are the easiest to get all the way end...I have had the same problem.... I bet I have 10 different kinds of screws!

Helpful hint to fill those long chuck feeders without wasting anything. Works like a charm!!

Always frustrated trying to fill these things. The long flower box is perfect. Retains all the overflow and don't have to worry with the lid opening and closing. Just cover with food and swipe down the 2 angled sides to maximum fill. Easy.

I went to buy one cream legbar hen yesterday and came home with one cream legbar hen one Jersey giant pullet and one cream legbar roo chick. Thanks chickencame1st. My wife scolded me but she came areound and really likes the new ones. Introduction didn't go so well last night. Got them separated bit they can still socialize through the fence without getting to one another.

Always quarantine, no matter where it comes from.
