The weather is great but I have a lot to do before winter. The cooler weather has me motivated to get winterized

I live in the sandhills and want so bad to move to the western part of the state. Keep thinking, one day I will. I love the Boone area, but not the tourism associated with it. We're going to Banner Elk in a few weeks and can't wait!

Good morning folks

The rain yesterday was a little unexpected as the last
forecast I had seen just that morning did not call for any
rain at all this week.........just shows that nature will do
what it will in spite of mankind. I will be more prepared
for today.

Is it fall or winter. ? I came out to feed all the critters and it's cold out with the wind blowing.

Washed some clothes the other night and figured I'd throw my jeans that I had on in as well. Got all the stuff out of the pockets and threw them in. When I came back to put the clothes in the dryer, there on top of all the clothes is my open wallet.

I have NEVER washed my wallet before. Need less to say, my wallet is now less than half the size it was. I think I need a new one as this one is seriously stretched out from all the stuff I had in it that got thrown away since I couldn't read it or didn't need it. All day yesterday I kept thinking I had lost my wallet and kept touching to see. IT FEELS ODD!

Yup another quick shift in season. Just a week or so ago it was hot and humid, now crisp and cool. I love this time of year just can't bileave how fast it changed like someone flipped a switch. I better get ready for the next 20 degree drop.
