North Carolina

Hellos everyone. My husband, kids and I just moved to Eastern North Carolina about 3 weeks ago. Sadly I had to give all my chickens away before we moved, but I am happy to say that we just put an offer on a house and hope to be moved in by mid January. I plan on getting more chickens as soon as we are settled in. I am considering getting some ducks as well. Does anyone else here have ducks? If so how are they compared to raising chickens? We will be converting an old small horse stable into the chicken coop and I was wondering if I would need to keep the ducks and chickens separated or if they would be okay living together.
But, What about horses? You can have all 3 at the same time, we do.

Its suppose to be sunny tomorrow. 3 of my chickens were soaked because they don't go into the coop at night. I had to bring them in and blow dry em. Hopefully they don't get sick.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, humans and chickens (and other feathered friends)
Have fun, stay safe and good luck with your holiday shopping! :)
