The Ubran Chicken is in northwest Raleigh, it's a great store but I think all of their chicks currently are older. I usually go to them for food and supplies. There is also a family farm called Little Birdie Hatchery in Wake Forest, they have younger chicks right now I think, though I've never been to them since they're quite a bit further away.

I lost all of my hens in a fire Monday. Does anyone near Gastonia raise Barr Rock or Buff Orpingtons? I want to get more chicks in the Spring.
