North Carolina

I know it's not exactly next door to you but here is a breeder/small hatchery that has a very good reputation.

Thanks for the information. I'll check them out. I think we are looking for Silver Laced Wyandottes and maybe some Golden Laced Polish, not sure if they will do well together though.

I can't comment on that exact mix. My only 2cents that I can possibly offer is that polish have a hard time in the pecking order no matter the mix I have seen. If you head band their top hat so they can see, they probably will mix better. By doing that earlier it should help them acclimate and not be at the rock bottom which is where I have seen them. Not saying it's 100% but that's usually where I see them is at the bottom of the pecking order.

Three down, seven to go...

I will be moving in a month or two, and will have no place to keep my curent batch of hens, even if I could have more than four. So I need to rehome the ones I have. I was able to give away 3 today: Glinda (BA), Smokey and Strawberry Shortcake (both EEs). I still need to re-home the rest.

I don't want to risk shipping them, so anyone interested has to be within a couple hour's driving distance; I'm willing to transport. My current location is Blackstock, SC. You can click on the geo location in my sidebar for the Google map.

Ol' Red is a 4-5yo RIR, Nut a 3 year old Cuckoo Marans, the rest are all Easter Eggers ranging from 2-3 years. All are still laying (even Red!) and healthy. Personalities range from squatting at my feet when I enter the pen to not letting you get within 3 feet. None are aggressive. There is no charge, and the remainder of their feed and treats are also available if you take all seven. All I ask is they have a good home.

Please contact me by PM if interested.

I need to re-home 3 ducks.
I'm in northeast Tennessee - but close to the North Carolina border.
I have 1 runner drake almost 2 years old and 2 call drakes about 7 months. I'm willing to split them up as long as they'll have a ducky buddy.
