Oh my gosh, TOO MANY ROOSTERS! HELP!
I’m a relatively new chicken owner (inherited a small flock a few years ago) and I grossly underestimated the sneakiness of hens to build up a clutch in a completely inaccessible place that you don’t find until too far into brooding to feel ok about throwing out the eggs…. So now I have roosters. A lot of roosters. And my ratio is way, way, way off. My hens are really suffering at this point and some of the roosters GOT TO GO.
I’m quite fond of the roosters except for their tendency to rile each other up and go after one poor hen or another… ugh. But otherwise they’re quite nice. Some are friendlier than others but none aggressive towards adults or children. Okay, one has pecked my shoe a couple times when I’m messing with a hen but no real intent there. They’re also absolutely beautiful. Mostly a mix of Easter Egger (sneaky mom), silkie, and bantam Minorca, with a few whose mom was probably either silkie or bantam Australorp.
Obviously I’m fond of these fellas but they need new homes. Anyone interested in one or two? I’m in Smithfield, NC and willing to help transport etc if needed!
Pics of some/most of the boys:

I have a thread for N.C. rehomings if you would like to post an ad for them there. :)

That’s my rehoming thread. You’re technically not supposed to put ads in anything but the Buy-Sell-trade forum. It can be a pain to try find rehomings in your state looking through all of them, so I made a thread specifically for N.C.
Oh thanks so much! When I searched the forums I saw a lot of “you might want to post in your local area thread here” posts so I didn’t realize it was taboo - sorry all! Thanks for the thread link, will post it there. :)

No problem! Thanks for using my thread! If anyone else is rehoming or ready to adopt, please go check out my thread! It’s not much yet, but I’m trying to fix that.
