I think in the spring I would love to have them hatch one of those multi colored ones you have. Phyllis is broody more than not, and I am sure she would take good care of it.
I lost my rooster in October, but now have Cecil. They pecked a spot bald on his neck, but after an hour they loved him. When I put out treats, Cecil eats last. Well, unless I give them tomatoes. Then he pushes the ladies out of the way to get to them. I spoiled them all when I bought a pound of dried meal worms. Now they think every time I go into the coop I am going to give them meal worms. I wish I could but I have not found them for less than thirty dollars a pound, delivered.
Anyone know a cheaper place to get dried meal worms?
I am going to figure out how to get a photo in these dang posts.
