We use the shampoo on all the show birds and anyone else that may need a good bath for that matter.

I just keep it away from their eyes as much as possible. For a spray we use straight permethrin (we buy the mix yourself bottle @ TSC) in a spray bottle mixed with water. The same as we use for the horses in the summer. I spray it on walls and perches as well and straight onto the birds if they need it. So far we have had good results, last longer and cheaper than adams spray.

I know what you mean about avoiding TS, I got my first Purina coupon and was worried I would have to go there to use it even told my dh he'd have to go inside cause I couldn't but thank goodness our feed store took it. I can't even think about those poor chicks with pasty butt and not being taken care of..
BHep do you sell duck eggs for hatching? if so can you tell me how you go about keeping them till you get a doz. or how to go about selling ducklings also.. I feel so sorry for my ducks they want to sit so badly and I haven't been able to let them because I don't have the room for them all and couldn't find anyone interested in buying them

I prefer to hatch my own or use a good hatchery option. If you can't do the large amounts of birds, some people think they are stuck with tractor supply, but you can use sites like MyPetChicken and just a get a few.

Anyways, I came to say good morning! Only 5 days away from my expected hatch #1!!!

Going to take pictures of my broodies to share today (long as I get to them before it rains).

Or stick around here, I will testify to the generosity of this community! Keep pecking.... Took me building a coop at a friends to get my wife on board! Now she will push me out the way to go get eggs, on a sunny day.
