I ordered from McMurray also. They have been super nice to all my calls and questions being the newbie that I am. I did tell them that I assume my mystery chick will be a rooster and they said "no, we get lots of calls of people receiving hens for their freebie". I haven't seen anyone on this forum say that yet but hey......I could be the first.

My son is the one that wanted the 2 Silkies so I REALLY want them to be girls. He already has them named. lol. Rapunzel (since he loves the movie Tangled) for the Black Silkie and Ms Feathers for the blue one. Please Lord let them be girls!

So when you order all Bantams, how many girls did you get? That seems so risky to me because what if you order 10 and get 10 roos? That would not be good huh?

Newchickhere: I ordered sexed chicks, the EEs and faverolles are 2 girls and 1 boy. The bantam cochins are st.run. The naked necks are st.run. And I got 2 “packing peanuts” that I believe are EEs.
