NH, next time I'll bring the video camera AND my SUNGLASSES so that I can teach her to say IT every time she sees somebody else's SUNGLASSES. LMAO
I'm looking mostly at cochins, but would also like to see some d'Uccles, and some Old English... and then there's the "anything that stikes my fancy when I see them" catagory, which can never be overlooked.I do need to watch my space for the moment, though. I've got a batch of meat birds coming in soon, so my brooding area will be occupied. And I need to separate a breeding group of my orps out. I've got 9 hens and a young roo that are black, but all heterozygous for lavender, so I want to set some of those. I'm working on converting my rabbit barn for bantams, and possibly one of the sheep sheds and associated pasture. Depends on how much I like them. (But what's not to like, really? They're chickens! This could be dangerous. I'm entirely open to enabling!)![]()
So, I haven't picked up on all the swaps/sales/shows yet. What is WCA? Times? I'll have to check a map and see if I can come! That would be fun!
By the way...this is by far the most welcoming forum I have ever encountered. Thanks to everyone for he very warm welcome!
