I saw a piece in the Salisbury Post about a local girl that is raising Silkies. Here is a link to the article. I think it has her number in it. Asheboro is only about a 45 minute drive from Salisbury.

All I cared about was going out and covering the last of the flowering apples trees, the strawberries, the corn, the potatoes, the beans... I was in a frenzy with just HOW much I have growing right now! I was actually shocked by the amounts of plants I have producing so early.

The chicks are under their mama right now, I just put even more hay into the nesting boxes just in case... but they should be fine. Long as their in a draft free place I wouldn't worry much.

I just made sure that all the lights are on and working & the doors shut <BG> It will not be that cold for that long tonight.
