Josh loved playing with him... he finished demolishing his room after you left. I don't think there was any toy not in the floor. LoL

You know those kiddos want a piggie. Only one is spoken for... so far. I am asking for $100 for them... but for you... we could work out some type of trade <enables>

They will be weaned in 5 weeks.

What a very tramatic night. I was putting up my 3 wk old chicks for the evening and heard one of my goats. I thought she was just wanting some attention. When I came out it was not a good sound. I ran through the gate and the people who are on our land but rent the trailer from my FIL; one of the four dogs (one my DH feared) got lose, got through the fence and was attacking my goats. Of course the smaller was attacked first. I thought she was dead she was down with her leg up in the air like she was dead. So while the owner was trying to get ahold of the dog it was attacking my other goat and all I could do was scream. I was frozen. I did not know what to do , but scream. I could not protect them at all. If I went after the dog it could of turned on me.

Anyway the injured one is in my fenced in yard, because the other kept horning her. I got her cleaned up and my MIL came to help. She is moving okay. She does have some puncture wounds, but nothing to deep. Tomorrow I am going to the feed store to get some stuff they use on horses that is purple? Not sure what it is but my MIL said to get it because it will help her heal.

Sorry to hear about the goats, hope they will be okay. Be careful about allowing a punture wound to heal too soon as it could lead to an infection and a build-up of puss under the scabs. If it was me I would clean the wounds every day and remove the scabs when cleaning them, then put on some triple anti-biotic ointment.......or get a vet out and have them help you. Good luck.

So it would be best just to use human anti-biotic ointment? I can try to remove the scab but she is soo new and does not let us get to close to her, but she let me near her for awhile today after the attack. I wish she would be with the other goat, but i know she will be safe over her and I hope that dog is locked up in a room behind us so it does not get lose again and hurt my other goat tonight. I would not hear a thing.

Well that sure sucks... I hope your goat gets better... it probably wouldn't hurt to pick up some injectable antibiotics to help fight infection. Good luck.

Blu-Kote is the purple stuff. It's an anticeptic. I hope your little goat gets better soon.
