I don't know....I have yet to SEE this problem first hand and I have visited several times...so I think IF you do have a problem...it's a closet problem!! LOL. Thank you so much...you are the bestest (look...I am using an incorrect word just to illustrate how awesome you are!! yeah)
x3...or 4... We are here for you and praying for you!!

I have been hoping they are hiding, but DH walked the property, spent some time in the woods and we haven't found them. It's hard to think it could be a predator attack as they didn't leave the run (still a bit shy around the "bigger kids") but were very sweet and friendly - not to mention we had construction going on...I'm sure that was loud enough to keep all but a bird of prey away and would a bird of prey really fly into an enclosure (the run) to take the girls? I don't know, it just all seems "fishy" to me. I did mention to the Foreman when he stopped by to inquire on the job that I had 4 chicks missing and was wondering if anyone happened to mention "finding" them in the truck - I said they might have gone in there looking for bugs or something. He said he'd look into it. I can hope for the best, but I'm not so sure. It stinks because a) these were special to us and b) we live so far from people that I guess we took our location for granted as being "safe" from people. Looks like from now on when we have workers over everyone is under lock and key!!
LOL... Hi Sandy

Welcome to Hatchers Anonymous!! Sadly, I am not one of you as I do not own an incubator...YET. I do foresee one in our future though...as a Science Experiment for homeschooling...yeah, that's it!!
A bird of prey is slient..........unless youare looking, you may well miss seeing the attack.
Seen this many times with my pigeons........and yes........a bird of prey will enter a run
or even a coop to get the bird. I had a young great horned owl go through a 1x2 door
for my pigeons and into the loft......DH came home to find it sitting on one side of the
loft and ALL the pigeons on the other.....mexican stand off I think. A fox is quick and
silent as well so could have been a predator attack.....in daylight.......hope what/who
ever moves on........and if Beth can't help on the replacements I can

Went in for the interview and was offered the job! I start Tuesday - basically the day after my classes end. It's an awesome job - it's also in Raleigh, so a bit of a drive for me. I'm so excited!

Thanks to everyone who prayed and crossed for me!
