I got an e-mail today from someone looking for Turkens. I replied that I thought someone was bringing some.

Hey guys! I don't think I'm going to make it to the swap (I have a conference in Orlando), but will try and send birds with ladybug if anyone wants them. Here's what I have, although I'm sure there are more I can't think of. Please let me know if you want something so I can send it. Hope you all have a blast!

Sizzle pair #1 - black frizzled hen with black/red smooth rooster, 5 months old (bantams)
Sizzle pair #2 - red smooth rooster with buff smooth pullet (bantams)
Buff Cochin pair - pet quality (bantams)
Silkies & Frizzled Silkies - 1-3 months old, mostly black, some blue, mostly pet quality left
Red Standard Cochin chicks (2) - 3 weeks old
Frizzle/Sizzle pair #1 - white frizzled roo with white/black (paint) smooth pullet, 5-6 months old
Frizzle/Sizzle pair #2 - splash frizzled roo with black smooth pullet, 5-6 months old
Wheaten Marans hen - 1.5 years old
EE roosters - 1 white w/ black & gold, 1 black w/ gold

I'll add others as I think of them!

Robyn, the girl that is looking for some goats will be at our swap. I don't know if your parents still have some available but I will introduce you to her.

Also have a pair of standard Cochins. These are very nice and puffy but are not show quality due to their colors. The roo is blue w/ red hackles. The hen is white/light tan with buff in the tail.

Okay, definitely coming. Just asked my fsther-in-law today and he agreed that my mother-in-law needs a pet chicken. She has been pining after our chickens since we got them. I'm thinking a little silkie hen would be perfect for her. My FIL is quite handy and can build a little coop and house for her. We will keep her at our farm until they are ready (in our broody pen). I also need meat chickens and maybe one lucky little red hen as a layer.
