North GA Fall Swap *Update pg 1*

Please post and let me know just how much fun I missed (DS had a last min make up soccer game because of all the rain) I had my eye on the clock and thought about what fun you all must be having. Post pics of the wonderful things you got while you were there.
 
Just got home. I want to thank Kelly for putting on such a fabulous swap/get together. I dont know the actual numbers, but there where a good many showedup and brought plenty of birds. I was amazed at how many people there actually lived within just a few short miles of me. I even met a cousin (by marrage), I didnt know I had.

I think almost everybody stopped by Chris's truck and admired his walnut cabinet incubator. Lots of names and numbers changed hands. I did pretty good at the raffle tickets, altho I gave most everything away that I won. Thanks to all the people that provided items for the raffle. And another thankyou to those that provided food and refreshments.

Looking forward to meeting eveybody again soon, now that I know how much fun one of these events are, I might just show up anywheres.
 
I want to thank Kelly for a wonderful day. It was a beautiful day and we had great weather. We had a good time and I think the pot luck was wonderful. Kelly you have a very nice home and were a great hostess. We had fun.

I fell in love with one of CountryPantry's babies....wish I could have taken her right then. Did you end up selling her CountryPantry (red/brown Americauna pullet, DD and I held her for a while before giving her back.

Thank You Kelly and Dave, we had a great time. I think everyone enjoyed themselves greatly. We were happy that all the BBQ and Beans were gone, makes us think everyone liked it.

Hampton06 we always have Ameraucanas and are only hour and half from Kelly's place anytime you are ready to get some. The red one you were holding did get a new home, but we have 4 hens that color so always have little ones in that color.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did, Matt and I had a great time talking to everyone. Post your pictures please, I forgot to take any and my grandson wants to see some. Thank you,

Let me know when you are ready and we will meet you someplace along the way. I you let me know how many you want 4 weeks ahead of time, I can even hatch you some off. glad you liked our Ameraucans, we are very proud of them.

Had a blast. I stayed from start to finish. Kelly and Dave were great. Everyone was friendly and i was able to meet a lot of people and i learned a bit more about chicken breeds. I didn't bring any thing food wise, so i didn't partake in the meal. I would have felt bad. I did however have a can coke and when i went up on the porch it all looked smelled great.
This was the first swap i have been to, and now i'm addicted. I can't wait to goto another one.
Hey kelly and dave, i looked for you before we left but was unable to see you, so thanks for having the swap.
 
I had a great time as well. So glad i was able to make it. I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything, even left my crate home for good measure. Nope, didn't work. I came home with 3 new babies!
