Yes, they usually lay an egg a day, when things are nice and calm, but we just got a couple of ducks, so they have been laying every other. You are welcome to check back, but I certainly won't forget you, either

I am a 60's - 70's Rock n Roll Hippie, born & raised in Calif... but dont hold it against me, please. I too am on fire for Jesus Christ. Did you go to the "Rock & Worship Roadshow" at the Spokane Arena last month? it was so fun!! Great music... Audio Adrenalin (never heard of them before) they were great; Family force 5, also great; Jeremy Camp and of course Newsboys... i love their drummer, so good.

Anyone wanna come shut the chickens in? I've got a hubby that's sick and already went to bed, a son that's doing better, but not by much, and a daughter that just threw up all over her room. Already got her through the bath and into clean pajamas. But I don't think I'll have time for the chickens for a while.
And I'm just joking about anyone coming to help. I'll get to it, it'll just be a little while.

Thank you. Got her back to bed, then got her brother to bed. Now I'm going to sleep on the couch because it's closer to their room and I won't need the baby monitor (which could wake up the sick hubby). Let's hope the little ones sleep through the night.

Crap, forgot to lock in the chickens. Guess I'll do that now.

@country lovin i got 2 batches of shipped SWH that never developed.. im so sad
i have my duck eggs and my chicken eggs in the bator and i also have Nancy's SGD and RD eggs in the bator also. The SGD are not doing well, 1 developing out of 10. and almost all of the RD are developing... YA!
i have hatched 4 chicks so far...

I've been meaning to ask you, do you still have the 2 ducklings? I would love to see how they are feathering out. Mine are feathering out beautifuly
i have to take a pic of them. they are adult size already and they are only 7 weeks old.
