Are all of you finished with your hatches? I was able to borrow a GQF incubator.  I am have it running to get the temp/humidity right.  However, I feel like I need to prepare more (like studying for a final). lol.  Any advice on the hows and whats of incubating before I set my first batch?

Mine isn't finished yet either. Had 2 hatches going, 1 is done with only 2 hatched. The other is still cooking. Tomorrow is day 23 for them so I'll check them tomorrow night if nothing happens. I ordered a new incubator today.

Thank you for your concern. For years we've said "he's not going to make it another year", and yet somehow he astonishes everyone and makes it another year, then another, and another. Now we're not expecting him to make it more than a few weeks. He might astonish us and make it a few months, but I'll be surprised.

His first heart attack was when I was 16, 15 years ago. He's had 2 since then. He has dementia and doesn't even know who I am. Half the time, he doesn't know who his own son is (my dad).
It's been tough. I just pray my oldest remembers him. I wish he could know all the war stories I've heard. My grandpa use to tell WWII stories. When I got old enough to want to document them, he was getting top be too old... Had bad dreams and such.
My grandpa is an honorable man that risked his life to protect the freedom of more. He was so close to becoming a doctor, but got drafted and became an ambulance driver.



Guess I had more to say than I thought I did. Thank you for listening. My grandpa's a good man, and even if he pulls through another 5 years, my kids will never know the man I knew.

Anyone want any D'uccles or Silkies??  So far, out of my 9 remaining Golden Necks, all are developing, I also was shipped a dozen Mille Fleur D'uccles as well as 14 Silkie eggs. The silkies are paint and paint/black splits, and seems like everyone hatching thus far gets a majority of the paints with 3-4 black splits, and a couple of random other colors. Hit me up if you want some banties in 3 weeks! LOL

He was in the Army.

He gets tired on anything over 15 feet, but that's better than before.
