Variety of color I have!! Send her my way, they should be good layers as all my mommas are large fowl good layers. I am getting a dozen eggs a day from 15 hens.

That's why, the sex link only works with a barred hen and an unbarred male.

Barring is on the Z chromosome, roosters are ZZ and hens are WZ, a barred male can pass his barred Z to his sons or daughters, a hen will only pass her barred Z to her sons, her daughters get the W which can't carry barring.
 
After hovering over my incubator all morning, I'm running into town so I can't watch it anymore. Day 21 starts in 20 minutes.
