I wonder how this will work the grey with the spot his mom was only blue barred on the neck, the dad was a blue barred frizzle roo.I think it is a roo.

Do you have a picture of his mom? Usually a nice tight dot is from 2 copies of the barring gene, but not always. Only males can have 2 copies of the gene.

That looks more like a birchen pattern and not barring. Barring would show on all feathers I think, especially since the bird is blue and not white,. So the dot doesn't relate to gender.

I believe she's talking about our bantam lavender Ameraucanas. 5 out of 13 were infertile for me, the rest quit the first week.

But! I have a trio ordered from John Blehm (@FowlStuff). Should get them the first week of May.
