Arrakis, as long as you marked the original eggs, there may be a delay but will probably hatch.

you may want to seperate your limpy hen especially so she cannot roost a bit, it may hurt her leg worse.
I had a 11 month old SLW who hurt her leg flying off a roost, then she favored the other leg, but it would get worse as she tryed to get up and down off roost until both legs didn't work.

Does anyone on here have or sell bantam chickens?
I got silkies this year, but i am not quite as into them as i thought i would be. I like being able to see my laying chickens faces. The silkies are so fluffy i cant see theiR eyes. I love how cute and fluffy they are. But i would prefer a different breed that i can see their face. Lol as silly as that sounds. And a breed easier to sex. I still have no idea what sexes mine are except one seems to be a boy.
So im going to try to find these a good home and then look for another bantam breed.
I would like something that still tends to go broody and somewhat of a good layer. Any suggestions welcome:) thank u.

Although from what im reading looks like the most broody breeds tend to have feathery legs. So i may have to go with something like that. I kinda like the look of cochins, and seramas , ameracuanas. I like straight combs but dont mind the pea combs. I dont like the rose comb.
I will keep researching! :)

I don't know but my 8 month old Ameraucana went broody, granted I shortened it by giving her mostly incubated eggs already (She was only sitting ~10 days before they hatched). She's a super good mom so far! But the only one of our Am hens so far to be broody. Maybe other large fowl go broody often? Which reminds me, I need to do a broody box soon because we can't be hatching out chicks every time a broody happens...
