Not a RIR?

I thought I had 2 RIRs but am not sure on the one anymore. One’s a bit darker with green iridescent wings. Her comb is also not as pronounced as the other and they are the same age. They are 4 months old now. Sorry I don’t have the best pics of her but she’s the one to the left in both photos.

Maybe she's a mix because I do see a little bit of rir in her

She looks pretty much like a RIR with dark wings. That could mean there's some mixing in her ancestry or maybe it's just a genetic anomaly. She's beautiful and unusual.

Oh no, she is way to dark for a New Hampshire Red. She is a hatchery type RIR.

Too dark to be New Hampshire. This is what my New Hampshires look like.

Hmm my NHR s are that dark and normal RIR don't have blk tail feathers

Well, mine are hatchery stock bred for egg laying.... So they might not be SOP.
