Not again 😣

Pics
Another egg last night, but a small and more normal looking one!

She was very fiesty about taking her calcium today
Before I could get the syringe in her mouth, she bit and clamped down on my skin and tugged lol. She knew the drill, and decided to protest.
I had to pry her beak off gently.
It's out of character for her, she just really hates this and I don't blame her one bit. :(
Plus she's pretty hormonal as it is.
I'll start rewarding her before and after the syringe, I did this most times anyway but I'll make a point of it so that it's not an all bad experience.

She decided to forgive me this afternoon
(Because I painted my nails bright colours, so she loves me again, and tried to eat them.)
I even got some cuddles!
I decided to let them free range in the rain before bed, and they LOVED it. Found so many slugs, woodlice and snails!
And we even found some puddles!
They got soaked, so did I, but they had SUCH a good time.
Then when we got back in the pen I tossed a towel over Spry to dry her off and she loved the fuss. And then started pancaking sigh. Got them a little dry, got them a treat and then into a nice clean dry bed.

We did have another "eh" egg from Spry last night. I only found pieces of broken shell and some egg whites stuck to another egg. The bit of shell was a little thin, but otherwise normal. I have to assume it was thin and broke, thus eaten. (I believe Sprightly is stepping on them, and accidently cracking them, as I found one of Dougie's with a little indent the other day.)

I upped the dose of calcium just slightly today due to that. We'll see how she does tonight, but she's certainly seeming happy and comfortable this evening so I'm hopeful.
