Not again 😣

Could it just be blocked with gunk?
Maybe. ... But it feels solid and I can't see a seem of where the gunk would meet her bill.

I'm going to try to give her a bath later and see if I can see anything different at that point... But it feels like part of her bill.

I’ve seen ducklings born with out nares
Me too. I have only hatched a few clutches with my flock and in the second to last brood, there was a sick baby with no nares. There were small indentations but no holes. It could not eat or breath properly and had to be culled. Not my favorite day in memory, by far...

That's awesome! Congrats! How are they doing other than no eggs?
They're doing well, they're definitely enjoying a break from laying!
And a break from calcium
...Sprightly is enjoying my company much more now that I don't have to force calcium down her throat every morning!

We've had a few eggs recently, so one of the girls is laying every once in a while, but I'm unsure who. They're both in good spirits and the eggs are all good quality, so I don't feel too worried, though I was hoping for a longer break!
Still, hopefully we now see a gradual decline in egg production. And maybe they won't lay so many for a while.
