One of my hens was attacked by a dog about a month ago. The wounds have since healed and she has begun to get her tail feathers back. My concern now that the last 2 days she hasn’t pooped much nor has she eaten or drank water. Would this be caused because of her feathers coming in? Any suggestions would be helpful?

Has she laid any eggs?
What is her crop like - is it empty in the morning?
What do you feed?

No pics now but she scratches for big when she’s outside. Poop is watering, laid an egg yesterday, crop was somewhat empty. I give veggie and fruit scraps along with laying pellets
Is she pooping at all?
If the crop is not empty in the morning before she eats/drinks, then you will want to address that.

None over night, last time was yesterday evening
You had her in overnight and was able to tell?

She’s been inside since the dog attack about a month ago. She is also getting all of her tail feather back
