It's the time of year it will pass come springWe have 6 breeds of hens and we never have a consistent laying pattern from them, except the 3 Americanas and the 1 Salmon Favorelle (Sammy). At least we believe it's her egg, simply because it is the only mauve egg that is laid every day and has the same shape. We have Delawares, Speckled Sussex, Dominiques, and Buff Orpingtons. Out of 16 hens on average I would say we get 9-11 eggs a day. I was curious as to why?
