Not having consistent laying from my pullet hens??

I feed Nature's Best Organic Layer 16% & get 9-13 eggs a day from 13 pullets hatched 3/27. I do have lights on to keep light at 12 hours. Don't know what organic feed fed to hens who eat bugs has to do with anything. Purina Organic seems OK. I prefer Nature's Best (sold at TSC & other feed stores) over Purina because it has less fiber. My TSC has just started selling Dumor Organic layer feed which is cheaper & appears by the tag to be made by Nature's Best In PA. Nature's Best is sold nation wide now I believe. Your egg totals seem OK.

At TSC I pay $24.99/40lbs. Would love to buy at the feed store, but they dropped it when Purina came out with theirs. The Dumor is $21.99/40lbs. I really think this is made my Nature's Best, but haven't confirmed that. I couldn't get any yet, as the dates were too old for my taste. I don't usually put herbs in their feed, although I think it is fine to do so. I do put parsley & oregano in the run for them to eat from my garden. I also put lavender & mint in the coop & next boxes when I have it. Hope this helps.

Bugs can pick up pesticides from the neighbors yard.
