Not laying yet. Could they both be roos? (PICS)

They both look like hens to me! The hen in the top picture just looks closer to laying. :)

lol thats good to hear! I was worried that I would have to rehome the one if it was a roo. Crackers is much larger and is much flluffier and has a huge appetite! But my Leghorn seems more interested in discussing the birds and the bees with Frightful the smaller hen. Im curious when Crackers might will start laying....could be any time?

They look like hens. Poor things have been debeaked.:(

They are lucky to have such a good momma like you.

Sometimes they won't lay until 6-8 months of age. They are not ready yet. If they were boys, you would see saddle feathers by now, which there are none.

It's worth the wait, these girls will lay fabulous big eggs!

Im really glad they are gals, and my boy is starting to talk birds and bees with them already :( I hope it wont hurt them, hes a bit of a brute when it comes to "that". The one with the little comb has been demoted to the bottom of the pecking order :( Her name is frightful.

Any idea how old they might be? I got them "A pig at a poke" Im spoiling them too, I hope its not too much though lol. Strawberries, raw corn cobs, lots of grass too, along with thier normal layer feed. Is it too early for layer feed yet?
