not mating

here are some pics .no i havent checked eggs for fertility.hens are laying eggs everyday.not really sure the age of rooster,was given to us.

Handsome fellow. As noted, not seeing mating does not mean it isn't happening....I'd crack a few of this week's eggs and take a look at the germinal disc

The yolk color has nothing to do with fertility.

that pic is way too fuzzy to see the blastogerm...and you've got to watch the glare doesn't interfere with seeing the blastogerm either. Not easy to photograph.

The three that say Fertilized are darker than the one that doesn't say it, sorry.
I have never cracked open a fertile egg before, so I thought wrong.
