Several years ago, I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. Our first stop was in Key West. One thing that seemed very unusual; they had chickens (or what looked like) walking around in some of the restaurants. These were open restaurants and the chickens would just walk right in off the street. In this picture, I was feeding one. Just curious to know what kind?

I believe people call them Key West Chickens, because they are crossed bred so many times.

ETA: I also believe they have a website if you google Key West Chickens

Ahhh, the beautiful Key West gypsy chicken! I was born there and grew up with these birds. As far as I can remember being told, the Cubans brought them over to fight. I always called them game mixes.I still have some!
