Not my Michael!

I just put on my facebook page:

Jenn * is sad to hear that Michael Jackson has died. The MJ I remember wasn't the freak. Back in 1984 when I was 9, Michael was the biggest star in the sky, the first pop icon of my childhood, and "Thriller" was the first cassette I ever purchased. I even had sparkly glove earrings... but would only wore one. I never did get his autograph, which I was certain (at age 9) that I would acquire one day.

I feel like a piece of my childhood has gone away. I don't grieve for who he became. I grieve for who he was when I was young, innocent, and gah gah over this white hot guy on the brand new thing called "MTV".​

that is the Michael Jackson I remember too. I saw him in concert once, 1991. So sad....
 
The LA Times are also reporting his death. Seems like it has been confirmed.
 
MSN is reporting that he is dead! he wasnt breathing when paramedics got there. they did CPR but it didnt work i guess...

I never did like MJ but liked one of his Thriller movie, that was it.

Glad he is gone. At least no one can get his money anymore! I would not be surprised if he did not have any money to his name!
