NOT OFFICIALLY SPRING YET, BUT IT IS IN PREDATORVILLE!

We're getting electric fencing this spring to section off a portion of the yard. This way i can free range and won't completely freak out if i'm home a few minutes after dark. It's pretty cheap too.

yeah...right now my chickens sleep in a bush.My neighbors hen had chicks,and 10 chickens moved in with us,i ALWAYS worry about not being here when they go to bed

hi,sorry for jumping in,but what do suggest for cheap predator deterents night&day??

(im not rich,no game cams or sprinkler system)

Dives my husband crazy! He has a few assault rifles And is a member of several ranges but would get 10yrs in federal prison if he shot a pellet gun in our back yard. Doesn't make any sense. Thanks for understanding.

No problem! I totally get it! It took me a long time to get to this point. I understand others may never get there. My husband's .243 rifle used to scare the crap out of me! Now I have an arsenal all my own. I took firearms & hunting courses all over a weekend. 9 months later, have all the licences & tags I need to take care of whatever. I don't fear guns anymore, now that I know how to use them safely.

Well, you do what you gotta do, within the law. That's gotta be frustrating! I think I'd consider moving. Not an easy thing to do, I know. Sorry for your predicament!

they are both roos,but they love each other to death, i dont think they could live without each other,it would be so sad

before i REALLY fell in love with chickens,there were alot more,they kept disapearing

until it whittled down to these 10(two roos sleep in other trees)& they decided to all sleep in the same bush. no losses since
