Not on Mothers Day

Oh yes they are. Thank you for your kind words
I am still worried abou Rosie. She eats like a pig and lays almost every day but she walks slow and her legs seem too far apart. She lays down a lot unless she’s eating. After she eats she goes back and lays down. She just ate and I was looking at her and instead of laying down she looks like she is perched on top of straw. Does anyone else think so too?

I knowing am wearing this out and I apologize but if I can help whatever is wrong I really want to. I had a chicken I really loved die because I didn’t realize or recognize what was wrong. See how she is standing? And she is beginning to limp some, seems like she is straining a little bit sometimes but how can she be egg bound, she lays an egg every day and has a good appetite. But she is so silent and doesn’t chatter like she used to.

100%Are you 110% certain she is the one laying an egg?
Yes I am 100% sure. The other chickens do not lay every day but she does and while the others have pale brown eggs hers have always been deep brown so I can always identify hers. But I agree he looks sick, and she lays down a lot and she does not get up and move around like she used to. It pains me to watch her

Oh, friend. It really looks like a reproductive disorder or another serious illness. Poor little thing.... She looks unwell. If there is a vet you can take her to, that's what I would do.
Yes I am 100% sure it is her egg because while the others lay pale brown eggs hers are a deep brown and she lays every day just about and the others do not but I agree she looks sick but she eats heartedly and excitedly but maybe not as much as before and she lays around a lot an walks more slowly. I have spent hundreds of dollars on my chickens and every one of them died anyway. The vet seemed puzzled as to what to do with chickens. I am on a fixed income so I am truly at the end of my money. It is just an enigma I don’t know what to do

I wish I knew. If she's laying, it's probably not a reproductive disorder. Worms, maybe?

Well she is still alive, still laying even in this heat, still eats good may not as enthusiastically as she used to. Her bottom still looks too close to the ground. She is so quiet. That and the fact she moves slower pains me but I will continue towatch her every day
