We are aware of the lag in the emails from subscriptions and we are working on getting it resolved.
Sorry, it's my policy not to answer general questions via PM since having things posted in the public forum allows a ton of other peeps to review and post their experiences and feedback.
Here are the reasons why emails may not be getting through:
- Subscription settings are not set properly, check them here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/users/subscriptions/
- Email address may not be set correctly in our system, check your profile
- There may be a delay in our server sending out emails. While the delay should never be more than an hour, there have been cases where it has taken up to 24 hours
- Your email client / program may be marking the emails as spam. Check your email spam folders and filters. Add [email protected] to your "whitelist" and your address book
- Your ISP / email service may be blocking or marking the emails as spam
Those are the only reasons we can think that may cause emails not to be received from our system.
Dang it! It didn't work. Ok I really do think something is broken. Is there anyway someone can look at my account and see if I did mess something up? I don't remember making any changes when this started but who knows?
