Not singing egg song

Does anyone have any pullets that don’t sing the egg song? I have 5 isa browns all laying now and none of them sing the egg song. At all. Is that normal or is something up?

Some chickens are super noisy, some are very quiet. Maybe you have a quiet batch.

Only one of my 3 girls sings an egg song. She sings whenever someone lays. She’s loud as shit so I guess it’s good she’s the only one

Mine all do it and they can be super loud about it. I have one that’s loud before and after but during she’s quiet like she is concentrating.

Mine almost never sing. They lay their eggs by stealth and we never know when they did. The only time they make a racket is when they want to get out of their run or they see a hawk.

My Buff Orph's are weird. So far none sing the song of their people while laying, but Mama (biggest one) will sing for them...and the EE Roo will also attempt to sing the song. I have 4 milk crate nests for them in their house. All the same. But so far they will only lay in 2 same ones. They'll wait in line to use them. And Mr. Motzie stands at door opening and plays maitre dee escorting them in and out while singing.

you are LUCKY! my two girls are nearly silent all day besides the hour of laying where they get really riled up and restless. my one girl squawks her lungs out while her sister is laying and it can go on for 20 minutes+
