I've created an account on this website 6 years ago I believe, I just was never active until now... talk about procrastination lol! I did not start out with chickens, our first birds were guineas, I think we had at least 30. Then we got 70 pheasants and then 10 or 15 turkeys.We no longer have pheasants or tukeys sadly, except for a wild turkey that has become a part of the flock lol. We didn't get chickens up until about 1 year and a half ago going on two. We then also got ducks, alot of them haha. Right now we have about 17 chickens and we are getting a shipment of chicks this week consisting of 10 Rhode Island Reds and 10 Speckled Sussex. Next week we are getting a shipment of ducks as well, about 18 of them. Right now chick wise we have 6 bantam chicks and 6 guinea keets in our "chick area" we also have 6 runner ducklings as well. We keep acquiring birds left and right haha, they are such a joy.
