I answered your thread. You have a Japanese bantam mix cockerel and a silkie mix that is probably a pullet.

Partridge chantecler. I was thinking Easter egger, but there's not enough similarities. Comb isn't right for a wyandotte.View attachment 1856412 View attachment 1856413 I would love some help with my girl!
She is about 4 months old, and bough at my local farm & pet store. They sell tons of different kinds of chickens, and at the same time I bought a "Heritage" RIR, Salmon Favorelle, Bantam Plymouth Rock, Partridge Rock, and a Buff Orpington. I was told "Tiny" was a Wyandotte... but she looks nothing like any Wyandotte I've ever owned! She's smaller than any of the other girls, hence the name.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I've never even heard of that breed before, I'll have to do some reading upPartridge chantecler. I was thinking Easter egger, but there's not enough similarities. Comb isn't right for a wyandotte.
Where did you get them? The second one looks like a cochin mix. The picture is a bit blurry for the other two, but the first one could be a polish mix or swedish flower mix.View attachment 1856447 View attachment 1856448 View attachment 1856450 funny chicken caught eating wheat![]()
idI can tell you what breed or mix of breeds you have. All you have to do is post some pictures and tell me where you got your chicken(s).
Preferred pictures would be a standing side profile, a picture of the legs and feet (if not included in the side profile), and a picture of the comb (if it's not a single comb).
I would also prefer that you only post chickens that are older than 12 weeks. I can try with younger chicks, but sometimes it's impossible to know at that age.
I would be happy to tell you how I came to my conclusions. If you're wondering about your chicken's sex, I can help with that, too!
What a cutieI'm not sure if you're willing to have a go at possible colour too but here's one of my Bantam chicks! I'm not wonderful at colour genetics and stuff.
I guess bonus points if you guess what he is (I'm thinking he anyways). I know what he is but I've never seen anyone with a chick like it before so I have no idea how he'll turn out!
Exciting times when chicks are growing up
