We kept track of the purebred eggs, but the mutts have us stumped! The ones we are stuck on are these three Olive Eggers. Wheaten Marans x Ameraucana mixes.

PulletsView attachment 1121557 View attachment 1121558 We hatched out 9 chicks and they are now 4 months old. Five we are sure of gender, and four we are mostly sure... looking for help!

Because they're 4 mo, I'd guess pullets.View attachment 1121557 View attachment 1121558 We hatched out 9 chicks and they are now 4 months old. Five we are sure of gender, and four we are mostly sure... looking for help!

It's too soon to be sure your pullets are 100% sure pullets but you definitely have some early blooming cockerels. Growing/pinking combs before they even finish feathering screams male.I have a gender question about my Jersey Giants. I'm not sure their age, since I got them from Tractor Supply. I would guess about a month old. Also, sorry about the low quality pictures. It's so hard to take photos when the won't stop moving

I think pullet. I don't see rooster feathers and that's a normal amount of comb development for a female at that age.Oops. I'm new here and started my own thread before seeing this one! Bad form. I'm wondering if any of you can tell whether this 3 month-old Langshan is a pullet or cockerel, because she(he?) has me kinda stumped lately.
