Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Can anyone help sex these Ayam Cemani? I was told they're about seven months. I think they're cockerels.

And then both with my Ayam Cemani cockerel (they really seem to love him, follow him, perch with him)

Those look like cockerels, but younger than 7 months. Closer to about 3 or 4 months old. See how they are molting tail feathers? Means they are still growing/developing.

I agree with @junebuggena
Not a breed I'm familiar with, but I think I see some pointed saddle feathers = boys.

The tail feathers are molting on them. See how a few have them grown back in partially, and how one only has two black tail feathers left? Juvenile molting, completely normal. Males, regardless of breed, are never that coloration.
We had no idea that the coloration was exclusive to females - that was super helpful! Another reason why I love this community!! Thank you SO much!:thumbsup

Do you have any other pictures with better lighting? The saddle feathers are not clear to me, hard to see the shape. Also, it would help to see a full side view including the tail. Comb looks more like an 18 week pullet.

This one (foreground) is also through the 1/4" cloth so maybe to hard, but it's a crested cream legbar over production red and I'm not sure cockerel or pullet. Comb is dark and obvious, but body shape and feathers say pullet to my rookie eye.
