With a face that red at 25 wks, she looks about ready to lay. Perhaps the shortening days added some additional maturing time.

I believe it is 4 1/2 weeks old. My other 6 had the beginning of their poufs on their heads by this time. What are your thoughts? Also, is the comb indicative of a cockerel?

Silkies are a very tough breed & they're young, so all I can give are "guesses."
Dark one has a wide comb with slight bump. Females should have a flat, more narrow comb.

White one looks like it has a smaller comb, but it's already showing some pink = a male sign for most chicken breeds. My silkie pullet started laying last week & her comb is still black.

You might have 2 males. Again, they're very young. When they grow crests, you'll be able to guess with more accuracy.

What are the ages & can you get a closer pic of the Buff?

#2 looks like an Isa Brown / gold sexlink female..... maybe about 12-14 weeks
#3 has a lot of red & some wattles coming down, but the comb is still pretty small. Knowing the age may help. (ie my pullet "Oopsie" from my previous post was 5 mo when that pic was taken. If a chick looked like that at only 6-8 weeks it would be a male.)

Here they are at ~3 months old. They look about the same now only bigger
