Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

If they are bluntly rounded, they are pullet feathers.
Male saddle feather are sharply pointed, thin, and very shiny.
Do you have a side view pic of the white one in question?

That comb is pretty red for a nine wk pullet, and the it's fairly lumpy, so I'm leaning toward cockerel, but really not sure. A side view might help, but at 9 wks, male feathers probably aren't visible quite yet. Got to dig for them!

I think you reversed your pictures.
That yellow feather looks male. See how it's pointed and looks different from the feathers around it?
Actually the yellow feathers on black are on almost this entire bird (see pic), a Pavlovskaya. The solid black are underneath, like new saddle feathers. The crest is pretty small and behavior is more like a pullet.

Gorgeous bird. Male saddles (if present) should be a golden shade, not black, on a bird this color. If this one is 9 weeks as well, you're only at the beginning of the window for them to be visible but with the complete lack of comb development, I think you may have a pullet. The yellow feathers in this image look quite blunt. The pointy looking one in the first image must have been camera angle.
