Ok, let me join the guessing game. I have 8 - four week old chicks. All Cochin. 3 are for sure boys, 3 are for sure girls, but these two have me puzzled. I know - they are what they are and will be what they will be, but - it's fun to guess anyway.

What do you guys think?

You will know for sure by 6 weeks. The first looks like a girl at this stage, the second I'm leaning towards cockerel.

First of all, Welcome to BYC!  And second, I would think they are boys depending on their age.  How old are they?  I have never raised Orps but just the reddening makes me think yes.

I believe they are around 9-10 weeks old. I took a few more pictures a little while ago. We are just getting started with chickens so we are learning more everyday. We bought 4 that were all supposed to be pullets.

FBCM but is it a pullet? I've got two others the same age with definite red on top so I believe they are and act like Roos.
