Dark, female barring.I realize 3 weeks is early, but this is our barred rock who (of course) has become my favorite. Will pullets make a warning call and seem watchful of others? This is the behavior that made me wonder if it's a roo, he/she makes a kind of trill sound and then the other 3 get down close to the ground and he/she looks around and none of the others move until he/she does. They're being brooded inside, so no actual danger, just loud bass from cars outside or the shadow of the ceiling fan. I'll definitely post in the coming weeks, but any early thoughts are appreciated.

Can anybody tell me if these are actually delawares and if I ended up with all 3 being Roos? First time chicken owner here and patience is not my strong suit! Lol[/IMG]![]()
