Supposed to be two pullets...but the ones tail looks higher than the others, and I'm just checking in to see if that means roo.
They are 8 weeks old EEs.

Your rooster may have been more difficult to sex because he isn't pure for the barring/cuckoo gene. A single copy produces darker, female-type barring.

I remember it was almost daily that someone would change their mind, seeing he was supposed to be a she.
Junebuggena you might have been 1 of the 1st to suggest roo.
I grew so attached that even after we were 100% positive it was a cockerel we decided to keep him. He is pretty aggressive now and I can't even fathom what I would do if I needed to catch him, but even being hatchery stock he tends to his flocks needs perfectly, he is a fabulous protector as he tends my free rangers...
I will admit I was sad about not being able to get those chocolate eggs, so I'm thinking of trying again and (hopefully) getting more pullets, 3 of 3 we got ended up being cockerels!!!
