Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!
Thanks!

Thank youYou've got a few different breeds there - none are screaming cockerel.
Yes, a pullet. Not a Leghorn, some sort of EE cross (green legs, small cheek muffs, but looks to have a single comb)Anyone know if this is a pullet and a leghorn?
You might need to wait longer to tell. The red wattles often show a cockerel, but not always. I cannot see the comb in the pics.Pullet or cockerel? 6 wk old blue cochin (I think)
Both look like cockerels. A prominent red comb and wattles at 7 weeks means they are males. A pullet at this age usually has a small pale comb and wattles.French Black Copper Marans: Guess the Gender

Let's play guess the gender!!! Akira, almost 8 weeks (left) and Wangari (right), a little over 7 weeks. Two French Black Copper Marans straight run chicks. Can you please tell me if they are pullets or cockerels and why do you think so! Thanks a lot!
