I think you're correct & the middle one is a male. Comb & wattles are much bigger than his peers.

I'd really appreciate some help in identifying the sex of my 4 Buff Orpingtons. They are 9 weeks old.
Thank you very much! I was turning that up also in my research. It's my first time with EEs...the boys are so pretty (of course)!!![]()
Besides the pink comb, this boy also has the solid patches of brick red feathers= a common trait in young EE males.
Thanks again for your help! I was thinking the same as well, but I don't have a lot of experience, so it's nice to have back-up!![]()
The light splash still looks like a pullet.
The black one has wattles already, so I'd guess male.
yep. cockerel.
Hello, could anyone please help guess the sex of my chickens?

Dark Cornish, probably around 7 weeks old in the pictures (I got two more, but I only got pictures of one of them at the moment. The only difference more or less is that the other two got a little bit more brown on them and have more feathers):

I hope these pictures are ok and thanks before hand.
It's better to take a standing profile shot and a zoom in on the comb. Holding them might make taking photos easier but it makes evaluation harder.Since my post seems to have drowned in the pages, I decided to bump it, in hopes someone who might be able to tell me just missed it![]()
(I hope it's ok for me to do this, otherwise I apologise. I didn't see anything about it in the rules, unless I missed something)
