Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I think you're correct & the middle one is a male. Comb & wattles are much bigger than his peers.

I've posted these chickens before, but they're older now - 13.5 weeks. I got them at 5 days old and have already had to cull 3 of the flock. I'm hoping these four are girls. They are some sort of EE/Marans mix from a local breeder. They are all very similar in appearance--black with iridescent green/blue/purple coloring and pea combs--however each has a feature the others don't.

Far left is the only one with wattles and a spike at the top of the comb.
Second from left has a unibrow of feathers across her comb, and the comb is more solid than pea above the unibrow.
Second from right has the muffs of an easter egger and some brown/red coloring of a Marans.
Far right has the classic Marans coloring around the neck.

What do you think? Girls?

yep. cockerel.

Thanks for your reply! It was obvious to me within a few days of getting him. He and his sister were free. Their incubators were full and ready to hatch so they needed to get rid of the three week old chicks. I bought 8 other chicks, so they told me I could have 8 -3 week old chicks for free...LOL! I only took two...see what restraint I showed?? LOL! My husband wanted to name him "Freebird"...but I've decided since I named a few of my other chicks names from the Wizard of Oz that his name is "Flying Monkey"...he likes to fly at the smaller chicks...it fits! ;)

Hello, could anyone please help guess the sex of my chickens?
Araucana nr.1, around 6 weeks old in the pictures:

Araucana nr.2, around 6 weeks old in the pictures (Sorry for the Ipad cover in the corner):

Dark Cornish, probably around 7 weeks old in the pictures (I got two more, but I only got pictures of one of them at the moment. The only difference more or less is that the other two got a little bit more brown on them and have more feathers):

Houdan 6 weeks old in the pictures:

Unknown mix breed (probably has Araucana in it) should be around 11 weeks old in the pictures:

I hope these pictures are ok and thanks before hand.

Since my post seems to have drowned in the pages, I decided to bump it, in hopes someone who might be able to tell me just missed it

(I hope it's ok for me to do this, otherwise I apologise. I didn't see anything about it in the rules, unless I missed something)

It's better to take a standing profile shot and a zoom in on the comb. Holding them might make taking photos easier but it makes evaluation harder.
A1 cockerel
A2 pullet
A3 cockerel
