I agree with you, so young cockerels.

2,4, and 5 look like your possible cockerels.I have 4 week old "Red Rangers" from Tractor Supply. Any idea what genders they are? There's a total of 5, a different one in each picture, number 1-5 from left to right and top to bottom (#5 is on the bottom)Thanks for the help!

You may have 2 cocks, #1 is a cockerel and possibly #3.Okay, I got some new pics of our almost 5 week old chicks. The first chick below we are pretty sure is a cockerel.
This one we think is a pullet.
And this one we thought was a pullet but the red wattle just popped out. Also has brownish spots (barring?) on its back that we also just noticed.
What do you think? Are we on track?
#1 Barred Cochin Cockerel
Which bird are you talking about?
This is my family's second generation, we were lucking with our first and got all hens. This batch was not so lucky. The last photo we're 100% sure that he's a roo, but the first two we're not sure on. One of the bantam silver sebrights is a possible roo, because he has his comb filling in while the other doesn't. We just kind of want to have confirmation on their genders. Thanks for the help.![]()
So far every looks like pullets but they are to young to say for sure, so I would check again in 2 weeks or more.
Could you get better photos? No one is screaming cockerel yet.Hi, everybody! I'm pretty sure I have all pullets, but a second opinion (or third, or fourth) never hurts. I have 6 chicks, all were born on Easter, so they're five weeks old tomorrow, there's 3 Blue Ameraucanas and 3 Silver Laced Wyandottes. Lemme know what you think!
1. SLW "Astrid"
2. SLW "Lexi"
3. SLW "Freya" She's my special little buddy. Loves to be held.
4. Blue Ameraucana "Midge" She's my absolute favorite. So calm and sweet.
5. Blue Ameraucana "Cora"
6. Blue Ameraucana "Nora"
Thanks for helping!!
the only pullet I see is in the first picture (the black one)
Both cockerels
