How old? Where did you get them? 

Oh, one is 5 days and the other is 4 days I think.
I got them through by incubator.
Only they hatched, though... But they're the first!

It's still within the timeframe, today is the day usually though for 'day old' feather sexing. The did you see the little chart I posted? I believe she's a pullet, it would be clearer with more splayed feathers but the different lengths are there.

I looked at the chart and she definitely looks like the female pic. Woo hoo!

What do you think about Dorothy the Easter Egger? 3 weeks old today.

I have a 24 week old pullet that looked just like this when she was a bitty. She just laid me the most beautiful call blue egg this week.

My thought ,too, when I started out. I first noticed it on my RIR and thought she was a cockerel but learned that both males and females can have them.

This is Haru, an Aruacana, Buff Orpington, Swedish flower mix. 7 weeks old today. I was always sure of her being a girl until just recently her crest is starting to grow and turn pink. I am sure about every other chick's gender except this one. She has thin legs and she is light weight compared to my other roos her age. Anyone know if this is a hen or a roo? She has a pea comb BTW.

actually, a girl, or HER is unable to be a rooster for the roles they play. If it is a girl, then hen, boy rooster, but a girl CANNOT Be a rooster.
