Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Have three birds I'd like to check:

3 week old Partridge rock, sold as a pullet, had the long-short-long-short wing pattern when she/he was a chick. Cockerel?
400
also, a Australorp 3 week old pullet. Is she a he?

last one, a three week old SBEL from MyPetChicken. She's aggressive and tall, and was he first of her fellow three week old friends to feather out. I purchased six female one day old chicks and these three that are pictured were in that order.

Awww... I'm so sorry. How old is your girl? Mine is ten, and our 5 1/2 week old French Black Copper Maran just tried a skreeky crow, and is getting those arching tail feathers. I also prepared her for it, and I think she is okay with it. She's more attached to our big, cuddly laying hens.

I hope your daughter feels better and I hope you find a good home for the beautiful guy. Wish I could take him! Wish I could keep mine.

She's 7 and an animal lover, so even though we've been talking from day 1 about all the things that could happen (including chickens dying and rehoming roosters) possibility vs. reality is something she's still learning.

Thanks for the good wishes; I hope we find somewhere good for him and I hope you do for yours too!

At what age can you in general does a roosters comb redden?
My baby is 3 weeks ( I think he's a Japanese because his body is the same size as my other bantams but he/she is so short. ( no leg problems ).
